About Us
The Beta Sigma Zeta house
The Beta Sigma Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated was chartered on March 9, 1946 in Tampa, FL by 5 revolutionary Zeta women: Zeta Constance Lester, Zeta Novik Clarke, Zeta Beatrice Stewart, Zeta Sue Jenkins and Zeta Annie L Waiters.
Since our charter, we’ve continued to serve the community year after year through our foundational principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University in Washington, D.C., by five visionary women known as the "Five Pearls." The sorority was established to promote the highest standards of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
Zeta Phi Beta is unique for its commitment to community service and its strong focus on addressing societal needs through various initiatives and partnerships. Over the decades, it has grown into an international organization with chapters in the United States, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
